"The typical agent-assisted home sold for $425,000, while the typical FSBO home sold for $360,000 — a difference of roughly $65,000. Sellers who work with an agent benefit from professional marketing, pricing strategy, and negotiation that can far outweigh the cost of commission."

What Our Clients Are Saying

"We saved over $13,000 in listing commission on our Cary home. Phil's team handled everything — the photography, the marketing, the negotiations — and we never felt like we were getting a lesser service. The money we saved went straight toward our down payment in our new Apex home."

"Moving from Raleigh to Wilmington felt overwhelming until we found Phil. He sold our home and helped us buy here — all with premium service and zero listing commission. We kept over $14,000 that would have gone to a listing agent."

FAQ

Questions About Selling & Zero Commission

Do I really pay zero listing commission?
Yes — zero listing commission. When you list your home with Phil Slezak Real Estate and purchase your next home through our team within 90 days of your sale closing, the listing-side commission is waived in full. You receive our premier, full-service marketing campaign — professional photography, cinematic video tour, drone footage, digital marketing, and expert negotiation — at zero listing commission. No hidden fees, no fine print.
What's the catch with Sold Zero Commission?
There is no catch. The model is transparent: we earn the buyer-side commission — paid by the seller of the home you're purchasing — when you buy your next property through our team. Because we handle both transactions, we can afford to waive the listing fee on your current home entirely. If you choose to purchase through a different agent, our standard negotiable listing fee structure applies. We are fully transparent about all options and terms before anything is signed.
How do I get started?
Getting started is completely risk-free. Schedule your free, no-obligation Equity Consultation with Phil and his team — we'll walk you through the exact savings for your unique situation, answer every question, and show you precisely how much equity you'll keep. Choose the way that works best for you:
Can I use my own agent for the buy side?
The Sold Zero Commission™ model is specifically designed as a dual-transaction framework — the listing commission waiver is tied to purchasing your next home through our team. If you choose to work with a different buyer's agent, our standard listing commission rates would apply. That said, when you buy through our team, you receive dedicated buyer's agent representation with the same elite-level service — curated property searches, showings, market analysis, and full negotiation support. Want to learn more? Schedule a consultation to discuss what works best for your situation.

Still have questions? Phil is happy to walk you through every detail — no obligation, no pressure.
